Parasound ZoneMaster 12 Twelve Channel / 24 Speaker Amplifier with Subwoofer Crossover

A universal amplifier 60 W to 150 W with class-AB inputs stage, and class-D output stage.

The ZoneMaster 12 offers 24 speaker connections, and A and B outputs for all 12 channels. Channels 1 and 2 are higher power for more demanding applications. This universal amp is for applications from 60 W to 150 W. It offers a high current for stable operation at 2 ohm.

The class-AB input stage mates perfectly with a premium Class D power stage. There are independent audio sensing triggers, one for each zone, and six independent 12 V trigger inputs, one for each zone. There are separate level controls for all twelve channels.

There are looping 12 V trigger outputs for each zone, and a master 12 V trigger input to turn all zones on or off. A speaker-level input allows for expansion with out pre-out jacks.

Two bus inputs can be routed to any zone, and there are bus loop output jacks for passing audio to another amp. A summed mono mode combines L and R for single-speaker applications.

The detachable speaker connectors accept up to 12 gauge wire, and there is short circuit and overheat protection with front panel indicators. The 0.5 W standby power consumption meets Energy Star & EU specs, and the whole unit is in a compact 2U chassis.
