Eversolo DMP-A8 Streamer, DAC, Preamp

With RCA and XLR analog inputs and outputs, Bluetooth, various digital inputs and outputs including ARC and I2S, and volume control.

Made from a CNC-machined body in aircraft-grade aluminum, there is a 6″ LCD high-def touchscreen and a control knob on the front. It is designed to be a versatile digital source with HDMI I2S, USB, coax, and optical output. It also has single-ended and balanced pre-amp outputs allowing it to be directly connected to a power amp. 

There are two SSD slots on the bottom, and the DMP-A8 will allow up to 4 TB of storage. A USB port allows the connecting of other storage devices.

There are powerful onboard DSP abilities including PEQ, FIR filter, HPF/LPF, loudness, compressor, and delay. The Qualcomm module supports Bluetooth 5.0 for great sound from personal devices. Connect to Tidal and Qobuz as well as Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, Radio Paradise, and others. Connect a NAS drive too, or even play music off Dropbox. Connecting an optical drive gives you CD playing and ripping ability.

The power supply of the DMP-8 uses a toroidal transformer for the analog circuits, and a high-quality switching supply that supplies the speed needed for square wave generation in digital circuits. 

The DAC is based on AKM chips and ultra-low-noise femtosecond clocks ensure low-jitter performance. The preamp circuit is fully balanced and offers 10 Db of gain before using a high-performance R2R circuit for attenuation.

The I2S output lets you choose different pin settings to get this high-speed, low-error connection between the DMP-A8 and a compatible DAC. The other HDMI connector is the ARC, which will let you integrate the DMP-A8 with your television system. 

In terms of components, the Eversolo uses the best: WIMA capacitors from Germany, NICHICON and Murata caps, Omron relays from Japan, and TI op-amps from the US.
