Following on from the 2021 launch of the EVO 300 Hybrid Integrated, these models were developed in collaboration with Floyd Design, Durob’s solid-state development department

Why Choose Hybrid Power?

The PrimaLuna EVO 300 Hybrid Poweramplifier combines the warmth and richness of tube amplification with the power and control of MOSFET technology. It uses junction FETs, hand-matched transistors, and dual MOSFET pairs, all driven by a generously sized power supply.

It uses superior components, including PrimaLuna Silver Label tubes, Swiss DuRoch tinfoil capacitors, and Japanese Takman resistors for unmatched sound quality and reliability. These are backed by meticulous construction using hard wiring, heavy-duty anti-resonant PCB material, and thick copper tracks.

The mono function allows users to use two EVO 300 Hybrid Poweramplifiers as monoblocks, doubling power output and enhancing channel separation and soundstage. There are independent high-voltage power supplies for each tube and channel.

In the power stage, high-power transformers and capacitors deliver substantial output using factory-matched MOSFETs and handmade, resonance-free output coils. Each power stage is equipped with advanced protection circuits, including dual inrush protection circuits.

There are balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs.
