Musical Fidelity M2si Integrated Amplifier

The M2si is sold in North America only and is the same as the M3i sold previously. The M2si integrated amplifier takes a peerless premium-amp experience and applies it to a more affordable price point.

It boasts trickle-down technology from the mighty Titan flagship, plus other high-end touches such as solid metal controls.

The M2si delivers 76 watts per channel into 8ohms and 137 watts into 4ohms. This means the M2si will drive a wide range of speakers, even power-hungry models.

Further flexibility is provided by the M2si’s excellent connectivity, which includes six line-level inputs and switchable home-theatre throughput. There are also preamp outputs and tape outputs.

Great attention has been paid to internal layout, isolating each circuit section to prevent possible interaction. The unit features a finely tuned and tweaked preamplifier, for smooth sound coupled with low noise and virtually no distortion.

The power amplifier consists of two top quality power amplifiers for the absolute best in separation and imaging. Generously rated, they are enough to drive even the most demanding loudspeakers with ease. Low distortion and very quiet they will deliver all music types exactly as the artist originally intended.

The resultant performance achieved by this unit is among the best in the world. It has excellent signal to noise ratio, low distortion, wide bandwidth and dynamic range, with extraordinary resolution and fine detail.

It features a Class A preamp stage with its own, independent power supply, coupled with a discrete pair of power amps. In effect, this means the M2si offers the performance benefits of a pre/power configuration with the compact convenience of a one-box design.
